Brisvegas the home of Grassroots
The pulsating heart of grassroots esports in Australia, Brisvegas, propelled forward to deliver a unique and immersive spectator experience during the Autumn LAN 2023 event. The event's success reflected our growing engagement and continued upward trajectory.
Situated within a 15-minute drive from the Brisbane International and Domestic airports, our new venue, Kedron Wavell Services Club, successfully hosted the Summer 2022 event. Its strategic location, flanked by four hotels and the second-largest Westfield shopping centre in the Southern Hemisphere, paved the way for the Autumn LAN 2023 event.
Bringing the live spectator experience to life with the Grassroots.
We breathed life into the live spectator experience by drawing attention to the grassroots level of esports. Over 65 paid spectator tickets were sold, reflecting a robust 50% increase from our Summer 2022 edition. Additionally, 60 players and over 30 crew members lent their support, making Brisvegas Autumn the most grandiose event we've ever run.
The return of Starcraft 2, with 13 registered players, was met with tremendous enthusiasm. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) also shattered records with 14 registered teams, eight of which competed at LAN.

360Hz comes to BrisVegas LAN
BrisVegasLAN Autumn, in partnership with BenQ, featured the first Australian event to include ZOWIE XL2566K 360Hz esports monitors. The massive technological advancement and collaboration earned accolades from players, spectators, and staff alike, ensuring a Tier 1 experience at the grassroots level.
ZOWIE's esports monitors, specifically designed for esports players, offer fast response times, optimised smoothness, and customisable features that help players enhance their performance.

Over 62 hours streamed over 3 days!
A commendable 62 hours were streamed over the three-day event. Our partnership with Twitch.tv has allowed us to enhance the quality of our online viewership experience. The Twitch platform's capabilities also enabled us to include spectators in the broadcast with voting options and social interactions for live giveaways.

Production room upgrades
Our commitment to delivering high-quality content led us to upgrade our production room. In an era where competition for viewership is at its peak, we deployed technology to rapidly produce vertical short-form content for platforms like YouTube Shorts, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter.
ur live replay and clip systems helped our social team disseminate content seconds after the action unfolded. Our production team expanded, adding a second observer capability, improving communication systems for floor staff, admins, and socials. We simultaneously upgraded our main production rigs and maintained three live broadcasts.
New wireless camera systems
New wireless camera systems facilitated backstage and player interviews, adding a unique dimension to the event. This allowed emerging esports professionals to feature themselves on a global platform.
Esports Media House
With the assistance of James Cowan and Emma Kuldemir from Esports Media House (EMH), we brought the Starcraft 2 event to life. EMH successfully delivered on all aspects of the tournament and broadcast throughout the entire event.
