Refund Policy

This Policy (the ‘Refund Policy’) sets out the practice of DFRAG MEDIA GROUP PTY LTD regarding refunds and cancellations. Generally, subject to law (including statutory obligations) or the ‘Special Refund Circumstances’ set out below, payments for access to the support, advice, templates, and tips comprising each step of DFRAG MEDIA GROUP’s Membership Subscription service (the ‘Services’) are non-refundable for change of mind.

Legislative Rights and Obligations

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits (or is intended to limit) any consumer rights, or DFRAG MEDIA GROUP’s obligations, under legislation, including the Australian Consumer Law (as set out in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010).

Payment Terms

To access the Services, you must first purchase a subscription (the ‘Subscription’) and pay the applicable fee for the selected Subscription (the ‘Subscription Fee’). Upon purchasing a Subscription, you will be required to register for an account (the ‘Account’) through www.dfrag.tv (the ‘Website’) before accessing the Services. Once the registration process is completed, you will be a registered member of the Website (‘Member’).

DFRAG MEDIA GROUP generally requires Members to make one upfront payment of the Subscription Fee before accessing the Services. After the Subscription Fee is paid, the Services will be available to you over a consecutive 12-month period (the ‘Subscription Period’). This 12-month Subscription Period will commence on a date to be advised by DFRAG MEDIA GROUP.

In limited circumstances, DFRAG MEDIA GROUP may agree to allow two split payments of the Subscription Fee over the Subscription Period: one payment before accessing the Services and another after the first three-month period of access is complete. This will only occur with prior agreement with DFRAG MEDIA GROUP and under very limited circumstances (such as compassionate grounds).

Also, see Clause 4 of ‘the Website Terms and Conditions’ regarding Subscription Plans.’

Refunds or Cancellation

If you have paid a Subscription Fee, the Subscription Fee is non-refundable, except as subject to Australian Consumer Law and/or under the Special Refund Circumstances outlined in this Refund Policy.

If DFRAG MEDIA GROUP has agreed for you to pay your Subscription Fee in two split payments (see ‘Payment Terms’) and you wish to cancel before payment of the second installment, the Subscription Fee for the first three months is non-refundable, except as subject to Australian Consumer Law and/or under the Special Refund Circumstances.

Special Refund Circumstances

In limited situations, and subject to law, you may be provided a refund of the Subscription Fee where Special Refund Circumstances apply. These Special Refund Circumstances may include, but are not limited to, compassionate grounds such as serious illness or injury.

Subject to law, if you are eligible for a refund due to Special Refund Circumstances, your refund may be calculated based on the proportional amount of the Subscription Fee that remains unused. You may be required to provide evidence of your Special Refund Circumstances.

Deferral of the Subscription

In certain cases (and subject to law), the Subscription may be deferred to avoid circumstances beyond the Member’s control (including compassionate grounds) that impact the Member’s ability to commit to DFRAG MEDIA GROUP’s 12-month Membership Subscription over a consecutive 12-month period. When this occurs, the Subscription and access to the Services may be temporarily canceled and reactivated on a date agreed upon by DFRAG MEDIA GROUP. Where a Subscription has been deferred, the full period of access to the Services will remain 12 months.
